Giving in a Digital Age

Steve Pierce, Director of Stewardship and Learning in the Diocese of Liverpool, will be giving a presentation on digital giving based on a chapter in a book he is currently writing about income streams for the local church.

Following Steve’s presentation there will be a discussion about how we can apply these principles in the life of the local church and look at what is and might be possible around digital giving in the local church.

Amongst the subjects Steve will address are:

• The current state of online giving
• Gearing ourselves to make a digital ask
• A donations page on the church website using online giving platforms such as JustGiving or MyDonate and give.net from Stewardship
• The possibilities for text giving
• ‘click and give’ websites
• Mobile giving
